The local processing of the collected data offers the opportunity of direct interaction with Traffic Control Devices with minimum latency. The processed information can also be used for further purposes besides interacting with signals: it can be sent directly to the Traffic Control Centre or even to vehicles that can receive the information.

Thanks to customised algorithm designed based on the client´s needs and the application´s requirements, the activation system is adaptable to a great variety of different traffic management approaches, logics and scenarios, which gives the opportunity of supporting a great range of field cases for traffic signalling.

Sensefields offers an autonomous solution that can be powered with solar panels, and thanks to the local process of the information, it can be installed in remotes roads avoiding installation costs for communication and power supply.

Sensefields Data Collection Technology in conjunction with ACTICA traffic management systems allows for the smooth vehicle flow on the Highway 47D, also known as the “Libramiento Centenario de la Constitución de 1917”, which connects the highway México – Queretaro with the region of Bajío.


Dangerous intersections security improvement

Sensefields is monitoring the intersection between the M-505 county road and the viaduct that crosses the Valmayor reservoir  to improve road safety via dynamic signaling in order to decrease the number of the accidents that historically have taken place at the intersection.

Sensefields solution has improved safety of Lithuania's roads via smart signage that warns vehicles traveling on the highway when another vehicle is going to enter the road. When detecting the presence of a vehicle entering the area, Sensefields solution sends a warning signal to the variable messaging panel that informs the road users.
